Yeah, dating is cool… but have you ever had stuffed crust pizza?
What really annoys me about All Stars Racing Transformed is that it again uses the (overused) Seaside Hill zone/trope, along with directly taking the Death Egg and Bingo Highway tracks from the first game. The only new Sonic courses are Starlight Carnival and Sky Sanctuary, the latter of which had zero impressive impact after it had just featured beautifully in Sonic Generations. There’s barely anything new.
So yeah, I’d rather have a new Sonic Riders than an All Stars Racing.
"Sonic Adventure DX: Director’s Cut"
- GamePro, July 2003 (#178)
- The enhanced port of the installment that introduced the “modern” Sonic style. (Not counting “Sonic Jam” and all that stuff)
- I remember being psyched to play the GameCube port when it came out since I had a lot of fun with Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. However, when I finally managed to rent a copy, I was very disappointed: anything that made the game good back in the day was over-shadowed by better experiences. I hated the empty and boring hub-worlds, almost all of the non-Sonic levels, and most of all, Big the Cat and his bits.
